Dear Carol, I received my "first" but not my "last" order from you today. My older brother had to retire early due to his health. Now "himself" has nothing to do after he sends his wife and daughter off to work but sit around and read all day, and lord forbid he may get a chill, so my 2 sisters decided that I would make him a quilt (wasn't that nice of them. little do they know this takes away "their" quilting time). Even though we are only 1/4 Irish my brother has this fixation with the Irish culture, so deciding what "theme" his quilt would be came easy. I had on hand beautiful emerald green fabric and a beautiful cream, gold and emerald fabric that I planned to use to make appliquéd Celtic designs, but I could not find anything for a border. I went online used "Celtic fabric" as my search word and there was your site and I'm verrrry happy. The material is more than anything I could ever imagine. It is more than perfect. It came so quickly, so perfectly folded and the "thank you" on your label was the icing on the cake. You will be hearing from me in the near future...maybe if my sisters are good to their older sister (me) I may make them a little something extra this year. Thanks again for you wonderful store.

Is there any chance at all that you will re-stock that particular fabric? If not, do you have any recommendations as to where I may be able to find more of that particular fabric? I love the book of sea and shore designs. I will be able to design a Halibut pattern using your techniques. My son is crazy about fishing for Halibut. I can also do a take-off on your designs to make a pieced, Bayliner fishing boat. These are very common up here in Alaska. Great help!  Hi Carol Several months ago I wrote you about your Mile-A-Minute article in AQS mag and how it helped me in the process of working thru some crises I was experiencing at the time. Well, instead of cutting squares from the newly created fabric and sashing it, I sewed all the pieces together and made a 62"x79" top and quilted it with primary variegated rayon thread in a meander stitch and just won an Honorable Mention in our quilt show this weekend. Hi Carol, Just wanted to send you a note to let you know that the fabric I ordered arrived today! Wow, are you fast (we only placed the order last Wednesday). I was helping out a friend who was having trouble locating the fabric she needed. Sooooo, I began my search on the Internet and your shop had exactly what she needed. She had already started her quilt using the black twig on white fabric and she needed more. Then, she decided she really wanted the reverse (white twigs on black fabric) too. She tried every fabric store in her local area and had no luck. Well, may I say you came to her rescue!!!!! She was so excited when she called me this afternoon (Saturday) to say that it had arrived. Carol, I received my mile a minute quilt pattern and have begun several projects already! I am not an experienced quilter but I do sew quite well. In fact, I have my own interior design business specializing in fabric accessories such as window treatments, table runners, and toss pillows. Needless to say, I have many scraps of beautiful decorator quality cottons. I have started a set of two quilt "throws" for my two nieces for them to take to college this fall. Hello Carol, you are wonderful, my fabric arrived today. It has been grey, grey and more horrible cold grey weather for the last week, then my parcel arrived. Well I ordered blue sky fabric and sunny sweet peas and thats what I had today lovely warm sun, blue skies and all my washing dry and scented by the jonquils under the clothes line. I think I told you before how much I enjoy shopping at your "cyber" store. We don't have a very good variety of fabric stores around here and after a few visits to the same stores, everything looks the same. I received my first shipment from you today. I am so pleased with the quality and the speed in which it came. The colors are so vibrant. I am just thrilled. I do have a question, however. New fabric is usually a little stiff. This fabric is so soft. Has it been washed and ironed or is the softness due to the high quality? I'm very green in the fabric department. Please advise.

hi Carol, my wonderful mystery bundles came today. Perfect for the scrap quilt I am longing to make (have you seen Roberta Horton's "Scrap Quilts: the Art of Making Do"? Very inspiring. I'm busily washing all the fabric now, and if the kids give me some time tomorrow, I'll start sewing!

Thanks for your note about needles. I found some in my kit. We are at our cabin now, and I must have hidden some needles away at some point for just such an emergency.

Well, it was a pleasure ordering from you again. Amazing how the Post Office can get a package from one small town to another thousands of miles away in such a short time.

  I have no idea if you are a huge company or an amazing one-woman operation, so don't even know if this is sensible writing thanks when I may be one of thousands of daily orders dispatched!

  However, last month I ordered a bunch of fabric from you, which you sent to a Seattle address as my husband was over there on business. Unfortunately it didn't arrive on time before he came back to Australia, but a work colleague who left a fortnight later very kindly brought it back for us, and I finally got it yesterday.

  Thank you so so much for your wonderful fabric! Not only did you very kindly let me have my quarter-yard cuts of all those Building Supply prints, but also a little FQ present! That is just lovely and extremely kind of you. And the kids are over the moon about the Pokemon fabric! I am so very happy with the fabric - it is very hard to find anything like this in Australia, and it really was like Christmas receiving a whole bunch at one time!

I just want to tell you how much fun my friends and I had in your shop on Sat. We were the three that went crazy with your novelty fabric. You have a tremendous amount of fabric for what little space that you have. I hope for your sake you are considering expanding the shop in the future.
